Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Paprika
Salt
Pepper
1 stick salted butter
1 pint sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Sliced mushrooms (canned or fresh)
Egg Noodles or Rice
Pre-heat oven to 300*. Place chicken in casserole dish. Season chicken on both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika (heavy on the paprika). Slice stick of butter, and place pats of butter onto the chicken until you have used it all. Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour. Remove from oven, and pour drippings from pan (I actually just remove the chicken and mix the sauce in the casserole dish). Mix drippings with sour cream, mushroom soup and sliced mushrooms. Pour over chicken (or place chicken back into the casserole dish. Bake until edges are bubbly. Serve over pasta or rice.
This is one of my family's favorite meals - and it is so easy!
